Singapore Driving Theory Tests

You can transfer your season parking ticket when there is change of:
car park group and/or
vehicle and/or
vehicle type e.g. from motorcycle to car

The approval of the transfer is subject to the availability of the parking lot and computation of a new expiry date. The computation of a new expiry date will apply when there is a change of car park type or/and vehicle type.

The transfer will take permanent effect, i.e. you are not allowed to transfer from Car Park A to Car Park B on Monday and then Car Park B to Car Park A at the same car park on Tuesday.

For car parks implemented with Electronic Parking System (EPS), you are required to inform HDB the new vehicle IU number if you are retaining the old vehicle registration number for your new vehicle.

How to Transfer

You can apply for transfer of your season parking ticket using any of the following methods.

For a company registered vehicle, you will need to provide a copy of your company’s letter stating that your company authorise you to use the vehicle.

Through Online e-Service
Simply login to My HDBPage.

The transfer will take immediate effect provided there are parking lots available.

Note: Currently, e-transfer is restricted to change of vehicle/vehicle type within the same car park group only.

Send an Email

If there is no payment involved, you can send an email request to HDB Branch Office/Service Centre
For request made after office hour/over weekends, HDB will look into it on the next working day.

If there is payment involved, you are required to visit any of the HDB Branch Office/Service Centre to complete the transaction.

Send a Fax
If there is no payment involved, you can fax your request to HDB Branch Office/Service Centre.

For request made after office hour/over weekends, HDB will look into it on the next working day.

If there is payment involved, you are required to visit any of the HDB Branch Office/Service Centre to complete the transaction.

Visit HDB Branch Office/Service Centre
You can visit any of the HDB Branch Office/Service Centre during office hours, i.e. from 8am to 5pm to complete the transaction.

I’m a private student currently taking my practical with Woodlands Driving School(Anyone knows whether they are good or not?). Already got my PDL.

Since I’ve just started, I’m wondering how do I book for my FTT as well as TP test after that? Will my private instructor book it for me or I have do it myself?

If I have to book it myself, how do I go about doing it?

how long you guys have got to wait before your next driving re-test? i just flopped it today ..

i wonder whether the driving school is trying to rip us off by extending the date of the test so that we would thus require more revision lessons….

The first step towards passing the BTT is to understand the contents under the syllabus of the Basic Theory of Driving. A copy of the official handbook on the Basic Theory of Driving can be purchased from the following locations or major bookshops :
